 |
Select a
Category
Choose the category where potential buyers are
most likely to look for an item like yours. |
 |
Choose a Title
Your title should describe the item offered,
in detail, and contain the keywords or keyword
phrases that buyers are most likely to search
for when looking for an item like yours. Make
sure your title is in compliance with the Title
Violations guidelines. |
 |
Write a
Description
The item description should describe the item
in detail, including the history of the item,
if known, the condition of the item and
anything else a potential buyer might need
when considering your item. Be clear. Be
precise. A good, accurate item description can
help you to avoid any misunderstandings later
on. |
 |
Set the Price
Be realistic. Using the Online Auction format?
Then try a low opening price which may
encourage spirited competitive bidding. Add
Buy It Now at a fair price, and you may sell
your item right away before bidding even
begins. OneBid Instant Purchase format? An
excellent way to get buyers to buy instantly
..... if the price is right! |
 |
Set the Duration
Determine how many days you would like your
item to run. 7 days is typical, although
shorter and longer durations are available.
Store Inventory items run for 30 days. You can
even set your item to RTSC (Relist 'Til Sold
or Cancelled) and list your item until it
sells! |
 |
Add Pictures
You can use Wagglepop Picture Services to
upload your images, or you can simply insert
your own hosted images via HTML directly into
the item description. |
 |
Showcase your
Listing
Consider a few Listing Upgrades to help your
item get noticed! A Gallery Picture is an
affordable and effective way to make your item
stand out among others when searching the
listings. You can add a Subtitle to get a
direct message to your potential buyers. Use
Bold and/or Highlight for those really special
items. |
 |
Set Shipping
Terms
Determine the methods by which you will ship
the item, and the amount that you will charge
for Shipping and Handling. Specify the
locations you will ship to. Specify a Return
Policy. Be clear and precise when configuring
your terms of shipping. |
 |
Set Payment
Methods Accepted
Determine which methods of payment you will
accept for the item. The more different
methods you accept, the bigger your audience
will be. |
Once you have all the points configured, you can
post your item!
|
 |
Complete the sale
Once a listing ends, it can be a busy time for a
seller. Use My Wagglepop to keep track of items which
have sold, and which of those sold items require
invoicing. You can send invoices directly to buyers by
using Wagglepop's InvoiceDirect, which will let you
combine multiple purchases into one combined invoice
and apply a shipping discount.
Package your item for delivery in the method
advertised in the listing, and ship as quickly as
possible once paid. Buyers appreciate a "fast
shipper" and are likely to visit again and
purchase more items based on a quick turnaround time,
as well as a quality product.
Once your item arrives at the buyer, wait for
feedback to make sure they are satisfied with their
purchase experience. Once positive feedback is left by
the buyer, please return feedback. Your buyer, and
other members, will appreciate having the feedback to
help them conduct business in an interactive, fair,
measured environment.
